During our recent escape to Valley Farm Cottage, we discovered a charming and tranquil retreat nestled 25 km from Saint Botolph's Burgh. From the moment we arrived, the key was left conveniently in the door, a thoughtful touch reflecting the peaceful, remote location. Welcomed by the host's friendly daughter and the adorable three-month-old spaniel, Beans, the atmosphere was instantly warm. the addition of a long-haired Lurcher made the experience even more delightful, as our children enjoyed the animals, which added to the family-friendly vibe. The cottage itself was impeccable, providing a clean and inviting space for relaxation after our long day completing Trek 26 along the Suffolk Coast, during which we raised £1,705 for Alzheimer's Society. Although our stay was brief, we thoroughly relished our time there, and I found myself wishing we had more moments to explore the gardens and surrounding farmland. Valley Farm Cottage is an ideal family getaway that combines comfort with engaging activities for all ages.
